I Can See the Light...In More Ways Than One!!

After a little battle with a virus, I got back to Opus 3 today and plan/need to complete the project by Saturday the latest! It is possible. Phase 1, the middle section, has been completed...including the lighting!!! I must give a HUGE thank you to my dad who installed and wired the lights. Though he taught me some things about wiring and electricity when I was a younger man, I have forgotten much of it. I'm full of many things...electrical engineering (even something as simple as this) is not my forte. Here is how it went.

A PC board was placed on a tangent side of the swell box lighting fixture. The lights were then installed and wired together.

We had some initial issues with the swell door not closing when we inserted the lighting fixture. However, that was taken care of and it can close without a problem.

You cannot forget about the light that will illuminate above the manuals!! That light was attached to the PCB as well.

We were all happy with the result. It not a blinding light, but a subtle light. So, if there is a lot of light in the room and you go to turn on these lights, you have to look a little closer to see that they are on. However, if the room is not as lit, it gives a good affect. I didn't want a bright florescent color. Rather, a natural and subtle one.

I then when on and continued with the pedal boxes and the center section. I don't have many pictures of that other than the one below. I will have many more in the next post as I near the finish line!!!

Until next time! (Which might be the final time??)
